What are we?
We are both a website and a festering pot of enthusiasm. Artypeeps.co.uk is the one-stop-shop for anything to do with the creative side of book and print publishing.

Who are we?
We are a network of illustrators, graphic designers, typographers, photographers, artists, project managers, copywriters and other talented professionals. This website forms an online resource to bring us together, not just to promote our skills as individual members, but to allow us to offer ourselves to the community as a group of talented people who can teach, inspire and drive new directions in art and design for print-based products.

USING THE SITE

Why would I want to use it?
Artypeeps gives you information about, and access to, some of the UK's most talented creative book publishing people. If you are looking for any kind of service related to book and print publishing (design, illustration, text design) this is the place to start.

Is it free?
Yes. The artypeeps.co.uk website is completely free and anyone can use it.

How do I find the right person?
There are three ways: search the profiles, search the gallery or contact us for advice.

What do I do when I've found the right person?
Email them directly using the 'contact me' link at the top of their profile page. You can then discuss your needs directly with them and negotiate the work together. There are no hidden fees - Artypeeps merely operate as a facilitator of great talent.

I'm in a hurry, can you help?
Phone us or send a brief email (see contact us page) explaining what you need. We will talk among ourselves and find the person/people that match what you need. It's like online dating, only without the romance.

Is this free too?
Yes, we do not charge a fee for this advice and you are under no obligation.

I haven't had a response from a member, can you help?
Yes, email Helpdesk for an urgent response. All emails will be answered by the next working day.

Who are our members?
The key to the site is the calibre of our membership. We have handpicked every single person who is profiled on the site. For a full list see the Search Profiles page.

How do I become a member?
New members must be referred - either by existing members or by trusted colleagues or associates. This allows the membership to grow organically, but still remain a trusted network of highly-capable individuals. It is by no means elitist - you just have to prove you are passionate, hardworking and reliable and the referral system has proven the most effective model for assessing these characteristics. If you don't have a referee but you'd like to become a member, write to us and state your case. Please include two professional referees.
